The company coordinates and oversees family governance, financial management, investment activities, and risk monitoring in respect of assets owned by the family. Its role includes financial oversight, risk monitoring, evaluating and supervising capital allocation across financial instruments, private investments, and commercial enterprises.

Redwood SFO Limited’s mandate is to support disciplined, risk-aware stewardship of family capital in alignment with the family’s governance framework, investment principles, and long-term objectives.

Core Activities

Investment Management

Redwood SFO plays a key role in managing our shareholders investment portfolio. We make investment decisions on their behalf, allocate assets across various asset classes (stocks, bonds, real estate, alternative investments, etc.), and work to optimize returns while managing risks.

Asset and Liability Management

We oversee our shareholders assets and liabilities and help with debt management, including evaluating and negotiating loans or lines of credit, and ensuring that assets are adequately protected through insurance and risk management strategies.

Financial Reporting and Analysis

We conduct regular financial reporting and analysis for our shareholders, which includes providing detailed reports on the performance of investments, income statements, cash flow analysis, and net worth statements. They help our shareholders track their financial progress and make informed decisions.

Risk Management

Risk management is a key function of Redwood SFO, wherein we identify and manage various financial and non-financial risks that could impact shareholder wealth, such as market volatility, cybersecurity threats, and reputation
risk.

Tax Planning and Compliance

We manage all taxation matters for shareholders. This includes staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, identifying tax-efficient investment strategies, and coordinating with tax professionals to ensure compliance.
